PTI Blog Hop

Hello! I was able to get a bit of time to join in the PTI blog hop this month. Above is the gorgeous inspiration photo. I just love all the elements. Looking through my stamps I settled upon Strawberry Patch and did some watercoloring. Surprised? I didn't think so ;)

I did the no line method for watercoloring my image and used my Tombow markers. This also fits the weekly MIM challenge. The stitched die is from the Shakers and Sprinkles kit that finally came to live with me. I love all the dies and will be using them a ton! For my little scallops around my stitched frame I used the heart border die and trimmed it to fit. My little tag is from Tiny Tags II. I hope you like it, I'd love to hear what you think! Sweet Day- PTI Blog Hop Aqua and Melon

Hello! Popping in super quick to join in the PTI Blog Hop which is Aqua and Melon colors. I finally inked up my Garden Variety stamp set which I bought used off the PTI forum and have never used. *blush* 

I also dug out Mat Stack 3 stamp set and matching die. I added in just a touch of Winter Wisteria as I think orange and purple is really pretty. 

The doily was cut using the Parisian doily die which has really paid for itself versus buying doilies. The bottom of the card was cut using an Edgers 3 die. Some sequins and a button and twine were my finishing touches. I hope you enjoy it and I so appreciate it if you take the time to leave a comment! Have a great Memorial Day!

Sweet Spring PTI Blog Hop

Hello! Popping in super quick to get this added to the Sweet Spring PTI blog hop going on today. I really wanted to join in and wanted to play around with more watercolors as the soft colors remind me of spring along with flowers and butterflies. I started by clear embossing my images using Mini Blooms and Beautiful Butterflies. I used a combination of Distress inks spritzed with water on my craft mat and my Tombow markers applied directly to my watercolor paper and spritzed with water. I hadn't ever done that with the Tombow markers and was very pleasantly surprised to see how beautifully reactive they were after being sprayed. After I heat set it to speed up drying time, I went back in with a light gray marker to add some shadow to my images. I finished it off with some twine and sequins. Pretty In Pink Hop

 This month's Papertrey Ink's blog hop was too pretty to miss, so I played along! I love pink so this was right my alley :)

I inked up one of my all time favorite sets, Rosie Posie and the new to me companion set that makes these flowers 2 step. I really do love the effect. I pulled in a bit of grey in the Soft Stone leaves and kraft and of course white for my neutrals and the rest is pink. I glittered my heart border dies and added sequins for more sparkle. The "love" sentiment stamped in white is Wplus9's white pigment ink which I love. You just have to heat set it to be sure it's dry but it's a fabulous white ink! I hope you enjoy my card! Birthday Roses

Good morning! Popping in with several posts today :)  I really wanted to hop along this month with the PTI hop which is several different choices of color combos. I chose to use the above one though I did leave pure poppy out. I really wanted to play with my The Sweet Life set as I love it and it hasn't seen much love. I also was excited to ink up Fancy Flourishes, which is new to me and I love. How did I go this long without it? I used a Mat Stack and it's coordinating stamp for my mat. The sentiment is Think Big Favorites #12. Of course this couldn't escape being sprinkled with sequins. Thanks so much for visiting and I love to hear what you think! Hugs...

PTI Touch Of Gold Hop

Hopping along with the PTI blog hop today which theme is touch of gold. I inked up the new Round Repeats along with the Lovely Layer dies and made this card. For my border I used one of the smaller single elements from the set and embossed in gold. My ink color is Autumn Rose and Soft Stone, new colors to me which I really love. Thanks for stopping by!

Papertrey May Blog Hop Challenge

I am happy to be playing along this month with the PTI blog hop! This month there was a beautiful inspiration photo using vibrant green, white and black. Of course, I just couldn't help myself and snuck in some pink ;) For my card I pulled out 3 differents sets, In Bloom, Gingham and Beautiful Blessings. I embossed the sentiment with white detail powder and the largest flower is layered with foam tape. I enjoyed the different color scheme, not something I'd usually go for but very pretty all together. Hope you like it, I'd love to hear if you do and thanks so much for stopping by :)
