IBSIC#51- Cherish

Hello! This was a fun color combo and I took it a pretty CAS direction with only a little pop of orange. I am really not much for orange, but a little is okay :)  For my flower I made it using a die and I cut some crepe paper I got in the party isle at Walmart for $1. For the center of the flower I sprinkled some orange mirco beads into a little puddle of Glossy Accents. I also used Flowers Bloom, Fancy Labels I and Mason Jars.

Come on over and play with us, you don't need to use Inspired by Stamps supplies and one lucky player will win a $15 gift card to the Inspired By Stamping store! Thanks for dropping by :)

IBSIC#48 Special Day

My favorite colors are in our challenge at the Inspired By Stamping Inspiration Blog! The gorgeous photo also makes me have a bad case of spring fever:)  For my card I used a design I consider a "go to" for me when I want a one layer card with lots of white space. I stamped the sentiment and lovely roses from the Flowers Bloom set and colored them with Copics. The little lace border under the sentiment is from the Mason Jars set. The butterflies were punched with a Martha Stewart punch and glittered after running them through my small Xyron sticker maker. I hope you'll come and play with us this week! You don't need to use IBS supplies, but if you have them we'd love to see them. Thanks for visiting:)

IBS #47 Just Because

This week's Inspired By Stamping Inspiration Challenge featured colors I would probably never reach for on my own...but I do like how they worked together. For my card I used the Flowers Bloom set for my background and the Just Because set for my label frame and sentiment and the coordinating Fancy Labels I die. The ribbon was made using a technique Joanna shares on her blog about making a double bow, very easy and fun! I hope you'll come join us! You don't need to have IBS stamps to play along, but if you do we'd love to see them. Thanks for dropping by!

IBSIC#46- Celebrate

Welcome to another Inspired By Stamping Inspiration Challenge. What a yummy inspiration photo! For my card I pulled out the Flowers Bloom set and some post-it's so I could do quite a bit of masking to fill my mason jar full of roses!  After I got all the stamping done I colored them with Copics and added a label to my jar for my sentiment using the smallest Fancy Labels 1 die. The sentiment is from the Just Because set. I hope you'll come join us this week, one lucky randomly drawn participate will win a 4x4 size stamp set and we'd love to see what you create! You don't need to use IBS products, but if you have them we'd love to see them! Thanks for stopping by:)

IBSIC #44 All Roses Wreath

This week's IBSIC has a lovely photo to inspire you!  Joanna is also offering up blog candy the first of next month for a $25 gift certificate to the IBS store!  I was inspired so much by the photo I finally made a rolled roses wreath I've been wanting to do for quite some time now.
I used my Cricut and the Artiste cartridge to cut all my flowers. I cut them at 3" and made a total of 18. I know I am super late to the game on discovering that Ranger's Glossy Accents is a fabulous adhesive!! I was actually very pleasantly shocked to discover how much of a great liquid glue it is and how quickly to takes hold and dries. Rolled flowers can be a challenge to keep together but the Glossy Accents did a fantastic job and I'm hooked. I added a tiny pearl to the center of each rose also using Glossy Accents. Then I hot glued them all onto my wreath base, added some ribbon and have it displayed in my hutch:)  I hope you will come play this week over at the IBSIC blog...you could be a guest designer! Thanks for stopping by today.

IBSIC #42- Baby Dear

Thank you for all the warm congratulations on my last post...I disappeared there for a bit as my computer went out right after I blogged last! We tried to fix the issue but ended up getting a new computer which I am loving :)  I played along over at the IBSIC which had the prettiest inspiration picture with the main colors being blue, green and white. I made a very nontraditional baby card. I hope you have had a good week and an even better weekend. Thanks for stopping by!
