Big Congrats

Welcome to June's Inspired By Stamping release!! SO many wonderful new stamps this month, you are going to love them :)  Today I get to share with you Big Congrats and Summer Postcards. Big Congrats is a great sentiment set that is perfect for telling those special people in your life that you are happy for them and Summer Postcards has tons of gorgeous stamp style images. I chose to make a baby card for my first card and also pulled in a few other previously released sets, Princess, Washi Tape and Background Basics II. I also used Fancy Labels 1 die and did a bit of negative die cutting for my focal panel. My second card uses Vintage Postcards set as well as Summer Postcards and Big Congrats. My last card uses Summer Postcards.

 Along with all the fabulous new stamps IBS is releasing a brand new die and coordinating stamp sets. The set I get to show you today is called Small Fancy Labels 2 and it comes with lots of sentiments as well as a gorgeous frame that has stitching, flowers and butterflies. I wanted to make a layout using the photo of me and my kiddos on my birthday.

I die cut the new Fancy Labels 2 to mat my title and stamped a second frame that I cut in half to flank my photo. The border under the picture was made by cutting the smallest Fancy Labels 2 and I cut those in half to create the pretty border. I also used the new Basic Backgrounds II for the script paper. Tomorrow is release day when all the new goodies are available and you'll see all the sets in full!

A little French goodness

 Today I have a couple more sets to show you! One is another new background set called Basic Backgrounds III. With this set I can now have any color polkadot paper I want! I love reverse polka dots and Joanna did an absolute amazing job designing this one as it is easy and flawlessly lines up!! The other fun set is called French Notes. I paired up my first card with a previous set called French Boutique, thought it was fitting ;) I first stamped my polka dots on the card base and then layered the script backgrounder on top. Then to get my mulitcolored image I inked up the stamp with Tombow markers. The frame is the lovely new Fancy Layers 2 die.

For my next card I thought a gradient effect would be fun, so I inked up the polka dot strip in various red and pinks. I added another great French sentiment and colored up the gorgeous rose from the Flowers Bloom set and colored it with Copics. The matted frame is the new Fancy Labels 2.

Hope is....

I so enjoyed making today's share featuring 2 new Inspired By Stamping sets and several previously released sets. The new sets being debuted are a fabulous sentiment set called Big Hope and a beautiful background set, Background Basics II. 

I love this saying and right away knew I wanted to make a wall hanging using it. For my frame I used the Single Fancy Frame and trimmed it out. I also added detail pieces for the banner from Whimsical Banners, the toppers for the banners and the partial circle from French Boutique and the dots around the flowers and branch from Creative Tags. 

The lovely Chevron background is from the new Background Basics II set. Honestly I've resisted Chevrons, but these are perfect! They are more delicate and I love the beautiful pattern they stamp.

Mason Jar Summer add on

 Welcome to this months Inspired By Stamping release! So many lovely new products this month starting off with another fabulous Mason Jar add on! I just love this set. Not only is there a new jar shape to play with but lots of lucious fruit to fill it with! I wanted to fill my jar with strawberries. One of the great features of this set is that all the stems and leaves for the fruit are separate so it's easy to get the multi-color stamping. I thought adding some Glossy Accents to make my strawberries a bit shiny would be a fun touch...but be warned, it may totally change your ink color! My strawberries started out a nice deep red and kind of turned an orangey color. I decided to leave them, but if you didn't know Glossy Accents could do that now you too! I also used the Washi Tape set and Creative Tags.

 To show off the adorable fruit I decided to make a CAS card set all packaged up for a future gift. I stamped the apple, orange and pear from the set (and aren't those patterns fabulous?!) and added a strip of pattern from Background Basics II, another new set this month, to the bottom of each. The sentiments came from the previously released sets Big Wishes II and Big Notes III. The lovely label on the box is from a brand new die coming out this month as well called Fancy Labels 2 and it's coordinating stamp set. The sentiment comes from Spring Blossoms.

Inspired By Stamping Full Reveal

 Today is the day all the fabulous new Inspired by Stamping sets are available for purchase!  I wanted to share my other release projects I made using the new sets. This little wooden purse I covered in pretty paper and made the Words of Inspiration set the focal point as this was a gift for a dear friend. I also used Spring Blossoms and Fancy Labels I.

 My next card uses the Creative Tags set, which I just love! Lots of sentiments that fit inside all the tags. I heat embossed my tags and went with a baby theme.

 This card uses Big Notes III and since I was on the baby theme just stuck with it. I added some die cut wings to tie the theme of the sentiment in and dipped the edges in gold embossing powder and heat embossed them.

Finally, I made a card using the gorgeous Single Fancy Frame set along with the new Big Wishes II set. I love the font on the sentiment and that it fits in the frame!

It's so fabulous having my own custom colors and the set has so many patterns there is one to fit any occassion.  I wanted the washi tape to take center stage for this card, so I chose 3 different patterns and layered them around my Big Wishes sentiment and flower. The flower was created from the tulip image in Spring Blossoms...I love how it came out and that I can have even more flowers from that set! A little bling and I think it's a sweet birthday card for anyone special.

IBS April Release~ Spring Blossoms

This month's release for Inspired By Stamping is amazing! There are 9 new sets this month and each and every one is a must have. Today I get to show you a bit of one called Spring Blossoms. It's a gorgeous floral set filled with flowers, vases to put your flowers in and wonderful sentiments that are perfect for lots of different occasions. I chose to paper piece one of the vases and the tulip and daffodil image to fill it with. I colored the blossoms with Copics, fussy cut them and added in as many leaves as I needed to make it look full. I love that the leaf image is separate. There is also a peek at another set that I absolutely adore that will be showcased later this week.
