Holiday Cheer

Hello and welcome to the September Inspired By Stamping release! This release is sure to get you thinking about the upcoming holidays that are approaching and it's always good to get a head start on projects :)  There are two great sets being showcased today, Happy Fall and A Spooky Halloween and digital paper and printables that coordinate with A Spooky Halloween. I am showing projects using Happy Fall. This is a great little set with several leaves, a frame that coordinates with the Fancy Labels 2 die and some sentiments. For my card I wanted to do a bit of a water coloring effect by stamping the leaves on watercolor paper and then lightly going over the images with a wet paint brush. Dye ink works best for this as it will bleed with the water.

My next project is a bit of home decor that I'll be using around our Thanksgiving table. I cut the leaves with the FREE Silhouette cut files (and my new Cameo!) and stamped them in various colors. Then I adhered a bunch of them with some twine onto some thrift store napkin rings I found. I'm excited about how pretty these will look on our table :)

**TIP**
Did you know all the stamp sets have FREE Silhouette cut files for you on the IBS store? Find them with the coordinating stamp set.

Great idea to make napkin rings, Leah! They are so sweet, too. You're using them this Thanksgiving, I hope!

Love the patterned paper you used for the first card (I mean, 'created') with those fabulous leaves.

OK, those napkin rings are fabulous! They're so charming and rustic, and the card is adorable. Love the window and how you made your own paper with the leaf stamps. So sweet. And GREAT job with the Cameo cuts!

Beautiful card Leah! Love the way the leaf background looks and so pretty with the great dimension you created with the inset sentiment. There is no pic of your napkins rings but they sound pretty :)
