Hello! Haven't had a lot of extra time to join in all the challenges going on over at PTI but did manage to squeeze this one in :) Watercolor is something I really love the look of, so soft and impressionistic which reminds me of my very favorite artist, Monet. So for my card I pulled out a favorite set, Wildflower Garden and got to work stamping the flowers with dye based ink on watercolor paper so I could soften them up with my waterpen brush. For the background I just lightly gave it a blue wash with some ink right from the pad. The sentiment is from the same set and the butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch. The doily is PTI's Delightful Doily dies and to finish it all I added some liquid pearls.
The kids and I went to a homeschool group Valentine party today. They had a lot of fun and we are now re-stocked in candy. They are particularly happy about that as we don't keep candy on hand. It will be slowly given to them over the next couple of weeks :) Makes celebrating last longer, right? Thanks for dropping by!
