This week's challenge over at the Tuesday Throwdown blog is to use ribbon in some other way than just a bow or border. For my card I couldn't resist making a ribbon rose. I have found that the easiest way to make these is to use wired ribbon, makes it so much easier to handle as the wire helps the rose keep it's shape as you wrap and twist. Then I use small glue dots to adhere the layers together. I added a pearl brad to the middle and stamped and trimmed out the leaves and medallion. Hop on over to join us this week, thanks for dropping by:)
