I love butterflies and the one that is on the Wall Decor and More cartridge from Scrapbook Pal is just so pretty. I wanted to make it the focal point of my card, so I cut it extra big, at 3 1/2", twice, once for the overlay and once for the layer. I then wanted a butterfly trail and on page 66 using the font feature there was this gorgeous flourish. I cut it at 2" with the Filp feature on.
*Tip* If you don't have the Expression or Create and want to cut an image in reverse, lay your paper face down on your mat and you'll get a "flipped" image.
After cutting, I ran my butterfly through my Cuttlebug using Swiss Dots embossing folder and added some sparkle to the dots using the Sakura Stardust gelly roll pen. To the body of the butterfly I added some pearls and little Prima roses. To finish my card I stamped a sentiment and used some Color Box chalk ink in Bisque to distress my card edges. Find joy in your day!
