Favorite Technqiue
Hello stamping friends! Today I have a favorite technique card to share with you for Inspired By Stamping. I have so many favorite techniques that it was hard to decide which one to show so I went with one I don't use as much as some others which is heat embossing in white on kraft cardstock and coloring with Primsacolor pencils. I just love how colored pencils pop on kraft colored cardstock!
I decided to use the gorgeous new Butterflies stamp set as this was a perfect set to showcase this technique. I started by embossing my sentiment and then masked it off to add the butterflies.
I added some sequins to the middle of each butterfly and some twine to finish it off. I hope you enjoy this technique and will give it a try!

Tulip Bouquet
Hello! Another gorgeous set to show you today from Inspired By Stamping. This one is called Tulip Bouquet. Here is a peek.

For my image I first stamped it onto kraft cardstock and heat embossed in white. Then I used my Prismacolor pencils to color. I started by using the lightest color pencil I wanted and layering the dark over where shadows might be and then back over to blend with the light color. I especially love these colored pencils on kraft paper as they are so vibrant. I heat embossed the sentiment as well. Don't you just love it? Flowers certainly do feed my soul :)

Vintage Postcard
Today I have a vintage inspired postcard style card to share with you! I pulled out some fabulous Inspired By Stamping goodies to create this postcard, all stamps and ink! I started by stamping the large "Post Card" sentiment from Vintage Postcards. in dark ink. I then used the pretty postcard divider and masked off the top portion positioning it below the large sentiment. For my stamp I used one of them from the Summer Postcards Add On set. I layered over the top of it the return postage circle.
My roses were stamped using the Vintage Roses set and colored with Prismacolor pencils. My sentiment is from the Everyday Greetings set and I embossed it in white. I added some white ink around the outside edges and finished with some machine stitching. Thanks so much for visiting me!

One Layer Thank You
Hello! I'm joining in today with the One Layer Simplicity Challenge. I love this challenge site as it focuses on cardstock and ink...stamping at it's purest which I love! This month's challenge is "I've Been Framed." To use frames in your project.
I love this gorgeous frame in the newest Fancy Labels 3 stamp set from Inspired By Stamping and thought it would make a beautiful card! I started with the frame I wanted my sentiment in and then stamped the rest of the frames alternating orientation and filling in my cardstock like a puzzle. I then used the beautiful flower image in the same set and stamped it in each frame. I very lightly went back with Prismacolor penicls to give some color to my flowers. This was a fun challenge and this card was my second attempt ;) I hope you like it! Thanks so much for visiting me.
