Paper Scraps Butterfly and Heart

Hello! I'm joining in over at PTI's MIM which is a technique on using up those pretty paper scraps. For my card I chose to use one of the Beautiful Butterfly dies for my negative space and filled it with some bits of pretty paper scraps. I loved the tiny flower embellishment Melissa made on her card so I went hunting through my dies to see what I could use as I don't have the ones she used. I discovered that my Mini Blooms dies work really well for this! I am pretty smitten with how my flower turned out and it is especially sweet cut out of felt.

I also just had to share what my 6 year old daughter created after being very inspired after watching the MIM video with me. She went and got out her supplies and got to work. She was so cute and she knew exactly what she wanted to do. She hand cut and pieced everything together and as a finishing touch stamped all those little acorns. :) This is going in my special binder that I have to save my favorite art projects my kids do. I hope you enjoy both our projects! Thanks so much for stopping by, and if you choose to leave a comment for my daughter I'll be sure to share them with her, she'll be tickled pink for sure.  xoxoxo

Both your cards are wonderful! Your daughter is already an artist, not just a budding artist!
