Sweet Owl

Hello! I just wanted to share this sweet little owl I made this morning for my daughter as one more last minute Christmas gift. I found the pattern for it on this blog and got to work. I used a bit of fabric and then mostly felt from PTI and MFT. I hand stitched the eyes and beak but used my sewing machine for the rest. I am so thrilled with how it came out as I can't really sew at all and thought about keeping her for myself! But of course I can't do that (and don't want to) so I'll be making another one very soon :)

I hot glued the pearls, bow, heart and flower on so they will have good staying power. At least I hope so in the hands of a 5 year old. I don't have a lot of fabric but I am excited about dreaming up another sweet owl...I may just keep the next one. Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, so cute. I'd love to try that. And for someone who doesn't sew, you did great job.

I love you sweet owl, it's absolutely adorable. Here's the thing, your project has to incorporate paper to be in the running for a prize at Make It Monday. So sorry! I totally love your owl and know your daughter will too.
