Flourishes is still celebrating their 6th birthday and I wanted to get in on a few more challenges. This one is for the inky background technique Heather Jensen presented. While I was thinking about what set to use, my Cherry Blossoms set came to mind as I could create a kind of scene with tree branches set on a colorful sky. I masked off a 1" circle to create a kind of sun and got to work sponging different Distress Ink colors. After the background was done I stamped the largest cherry blossom branch in Versafine Onyx Black and chose a sentiment from the Hydrangea set. This is super clean and simple but I do love the effect. Thanks so much for stopping by!
