I am so thankful for my blessed life. I haven't done a post of more personal nature in awhile and thought I'd like to share a bit :) This picture, which you'll see again in a LO soon ;) was taken on my birthday last month. Truly no greater gift has been given to me 3x over than my kids.
A few things that we've been waiting on that were totally out of our control have finally come through and this is such a relief as it will enable me to tie up a few loose ends for Makaio. I can hardly wrap my mind around it being almost 2 years ago since I first met my baby and then just a couple months later that he came home. And I am still dealing with paperwork! LOL
I have set a goal for myself this month to exercise. It's been a mix of good and extremely hard. I am always in some level of pain from Fibromyalgia and having some soreness from working out on top of it all is a bit discouraging. I do feel better in some ways but it's an on going battle to be sure. It's been 7 years of dealing with chronic pain and for the most part I feel God has blessed me with acceptance of it and even in some ways I can honestly view it as a blessing.
I am thankful for Craigslist this week too! Ayana has still been sleeping in a toddler/crib bed and she just turned 5 and it's really been on my heart to get her a big girl bed. But they are expensive. And I wanted one with storage drawers which make them even more so. So after searching Craigslist for only 2 days I found her bed, with storage and the mattress! For only $100. That was a total blessing as it was what we could afford. James will go pick it up tomorrow :)
Well, that's a little snippet into my life and what I am so thankful for. God's faithfulness is abounds all around us...I hope you'll stop and see what He's doing in your life too. Hugs....

Leah, thanks for adding a personal touch to your blog! I love your birthday pic and happy belated birthday. I want to PRAISE GOD for getting a letter today telling me our insurance was approved. I paid the required amount and now just wait for insurance info to come! Yay :) thanks for letting me share how wonderful the God we serve really is! Kathi
Hi Leah--I haven't been by your blog recently, but had to pop in when I saw that gorgeous photo. You are truly blessed, and all your children look so happy, as do you. Nice to get a little update on how you are.
I just wanted to send you some positive thoughts. About 3 1/2 months ago I started working out. Prior to that I was in constant pain in my back, hips and had chronic headaches. I have tried all kinds of pain meds and when they talked about burning nerve ends and doing shots in the nerves, I said I was done! I went that day and joined the gym. It did hurt, but I took it slow. I went 5-6 days a week and still do, but I have lost almost 25 lbs. I rarely hurt and it is nowhere near what it used to be. I have a very good feeling you will have the same results. Just stick to it and stay determined. :)
Leah, I had lost my contact list when a guy redid my computer. I just stumbled on a blog you had commented on today and was delighted to find you again! Gosh I cannot believe how much Makaio has grown, just seems like yesterday you were going to get him :) Beautiful photo. I hope that working out will help to alleviate some of your pain. Now that I have found you again will be stopping by. blessings davi
