MIM #95- Birthday Wishes

This week's MIM is to make layered glitter shapes. My glitter is sure getting a workout :) I have a very small Xyron sticker machine so I had to be sure my shape would fit through it and I chose a butterfly die from Beautiful Butterflies. Ever start a card and have no idea what direction you are going? Well, that's how this one was for me, so I pulled out my inspiration binder and decided to use Lace Bouquet and then thought of the Filigree border die and used a pre-cut and stamped Fabulous Frames die and it just kind of made itself:)  The sentiment is from Round and Round. I really love how it came out and that butterfly has major sparkle in person! Hope you are having a good week....I'm so happy to have most all my Christmas gifts done. It's the first year I haven't felt stressed out! Totally worth starting in September. Thanks for stopping by!

I'm having a hard time reading your post, Leah-- that scripty font is too hard for my 40 year old eyes! LOL!
But, your card is lovely! What a great idea to add part of the border to the butterfly!

You and I must ave the same Xyron model. I have been mentally cataloging my small dies as I've been driving to and fro.
The butterfly looks great all sparkled and the piece of filigree border adds a wonderful design to the its back. This is a lovely card, Leah.
