Hello! Today I have another book review to share with you. This time it's a children's book about the Biblical account of Paul's conversion. The book is easy enough for a quick read by my 2nd grader but engaging enough to keep the interest of my 4th grader. The illustrations are colorful and fun and one of our favorite pages is when Paul is proudly wearing his name tag displaying his name change.
I like that the book keeps to the accuracy of the Biblical account and doesn't change or embellish things. We read the book and then read the account straight out of the Bible and having some fun visual context has helped my kids remember the story much better.
The book begins with a verse out of Romans which is a nice prelude into the story. At the end of the book there is a page that summarizes who Paul/Saul was, another scripture and a little, "Did you know" fact about that time in history and encouragement for how we can pray like Paul did.
I think this is a great little book to add to your kids library and I know my kids will now remember the wonderful story of Paul.
I received a free copy of this book through the BookLook Bloggers program in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
