Combining Old and New Stamp Sets

Hello! Today I have a card to share with you that combines some older Inspired By Stamping sets with brand new ones. This is a great way to get more out of your stamps!

For my card I combined the brand new Honey Bee and Friends set with the older Hexagons and Summer Flowers set. This was a fun way to use so many different sets on one card and also shows how well all the Inspired By Stamping sets work together. I started by stamping my hexagons and then my sentiment. I knew I wanted to add the sweet little bee from the Honey Bee set and it pairs perfectly with the hexagons!

I chose one of the large flowers from the Summer Flowers set and stamped it in a red ink and then colored with Copics. I did the same for the leaves and also colored the hexagons the bees are on. Some twine tied in a bow finishes it off. I hope you'll look in your stash and combine some sets. I sure had a lot of fun! Thanks for stopping by :)
