Inspired By Stamping and Die Versions Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Inspired By Stamping and Die Versions Blog Hop. Twenty two talented designers have united to celebrate the new season and shake off the malaise of a snowy winter. Yay!!! Inspired by Stamping, designs and manufactures the highest quality of photopolymer stamps that bring superior stamping to all crafters, has teamed up with Die Versions, makers of low profile metal dies which works with virtually every machine out there and cuts through most materials, to create this special eye candy of Spring themed projects.

One lucky "hopper" will get a total prize package of $100 in gift certificates, a $50 gift certificate from Inspired By Stamping AND Die-Versions so you can stock up on some awesome products that both of these companies have to offer.

For your chance to win the grand prize, visit all of the participating blogs, leaving a comment at each, then leave a comment telling us what you like most about Spring at the Inspired By Stamping blog.  All comments entered now and April 28th at 10 pm  (Pacific Time)  will be eligible for the grand prize.

I decided to make a fun little mini card set with a pretty string tie box to go with it and a matching card, all ready for giving. I started by using the Whispers: Pebbles plate to impress all my card bases and then went back with some Distress ink to make the pattern pop.
I pulled out several Inspired By Stamping sets for my cards and box including Spring Blossoms, Background Basics II and Little Flowers. I stamped and colored with Copics and trimmed all the leaves and flowers out. I added the pretty Express Banners: Happy Day die cut from Die Versions and cut it in half so that it would fit on my card. I then covered it in gold glitter.
I added another Die Versions "happy" to my box that houses all my mini cards. For my cards I used the Fancy Labels 2 die to cut all my mats and stamped directly onto them. I added strips of Scor tape sprinkled with glitter for more embellishments.
Here is my string tie box slid open to show how the cards are housed in the box. I stamped the entire box, which was a Silhouette cutting file, using the IBS Basic Backgrounds III polka dot strip. I hope you enjoyed my project!

Your next stop on the hop is Lisa Eisner, and if you ever get lost in the hop you can always go to the Die Versions blog for the complete order list.
