Another amazing set to introduce to you today from the November Inspired By Stamping release called Vintage Pieces! This set is full of gorgeous images for all sorts of occasions. For my first card I used the lovely pitcher found in the set and paired it with another set that you'll see later this week called Garden Seeds. I was thrilled to see how perfectly the crocus fit into the pitcher!
I chose to make the pitcher blue as it reminds me of my mom and her love of blue and white china. The sentiment, banner and seed packet front come from Garden Seeds.
My next card uses 2 more images from the Vintage Pieces set and a sentiment from Just Because. I gave this card to my son as he just recently completed second grade. I am blessed to be able to home school and he is only 7 and has done so well! I really am so very proud of him. I love how much I've learned along side him as well :)
My last project for today uses another couple of fabulous images from Vintage Pieces as well as the Gratitude sentiment from Garden Seeds. I found these mini cards in my stash, they are about 2"x2 1/2" with little envelopes to match and I thought they'd make the perfect little encouragement notes to hand out while I'm out shopping. I think a lot of people don't get thanked for what they do and having someone say thank you can mean so much. I colored each image with my Prismacolor Pencils. I liked the look of the pencil along with the vintage feel.
Thanks for joining me today and be sure to come back tomorrow, lots more in store!

Wow Leah~ Your projects so very pretty!!! BIG CONGRATS to your son (and his teacher;)). Your idea of mini cards to hand out while shopping is fantastic! I thank people along the way, but I love the idea of handing out a card...something that can be viewed later as well. Thank YOU so much for the idea!
Wonderful projects, so fresh!
Beautiful projects. I love how much texture and layering you add to your cards. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
Oh wow...these are stunning. Love the pop of blue on your first card. It does remind me of the blue and white china!! :) Your second card is such a great card for anyone of any age, but definitely for someone as awesome as your little guy. I know he will cherish it. The thank you notes are such a great idea and such a heartfelt gesture. I know these will be appreciated by everyone that receives one.
WOW!!! these are awesome :)
love the pitcher stamped in blue and the fun little note cards :)
These are absolutely GORGEOUS, Leah. LOVE the clever idea of putting the crocus in the pitcher - how delightful! And your idea of giving out little hand-colored thank you notes is a stroke of kind and creative genius. What a great idea!
The sewing and buttons are the perfect embellishment for these images!
