With Love

Hello! Goodness I kind of disappeared there but not without good reason. I have been slightly obsessed with getting my hands on a new toy, a Silhouette Cameo! I was able to sell all of my Cricut stuff to fund the new machine and it's suppose to come live with me tomorrow! I am very excited about it.

But, for today I have a card to share that is being entered over at the Simon Monday Challenge blog which was to use die cuts. I don't make anything doesn't use die cuts, so this was a great challenge. I layered the Inspired By Stamping Fancy Labels 2 die for my focal point and made the very bottom one bigger by cutting it in half and then disguising the cut with ribbon lace. Love how that gives you even more out of your dies. I inked up my new Sweet Aviary set from IBS and added a sentiment from Creative Tags. I have a thing for birds and bird cages and this is a gorgeous set! I hope you are having a great week and I think I'll do some posts on how I am getting along with my new Cameo...do you have one? How do you like it? Thanks for dropping by!
