I am in love with one of the new sets for Inspired By Stamping July called Octagons! So much fun, and pretty too! I decided to make a little gift ensemble to showcase all the wonderful patterns this set is packed with, and I didn't even use them all! I altered a box and made a matching card and used a couple of previously released stamp sets, Big Hope and Just Because. I started by cutting my panels for my background paper to the size I wanted for the box and card front and then stamped using the open background strip that is in the set. Then I decided on my color scheme and went to town stamping all the different designs of octagons. For my box I masked off the rest of the sentiment you see on the card. All the flowers were handmade, including the little crocheted ones :)
