Wishes

For my card today I used the brand new Sweet 'n Sassy Carnation and pulled out an older set for the pretty butterfly, In His Time. I thought the two paired together nicely. I kept with warmer tones but it sure does feel good to be working with some more spring like images. For the butterfly I stamped it with Palette ink and lightly colored with my Copics, but it will smear your ink color! It worked out fine since I just kind of went with it and used it to my advantage, but if you don't want smearing don't stamp with Palette ink! I colored my carnations with Copics as well and added some ink distressing using Old Paper. The big scallop border is an EK Success punch and the corners are a Cuttlebug die.
