The Greatest of These...

Well, I have a a very stressful week which has just gotten a lot better! On Monday my husband had a chance to work some overtime and took it. He works in a big manufacturing plant where they make napkins, towels and toilet paper. He is the one the fixes these huge machines when they break down. While working an accident happened and his right hand got trapped/crushed in a big, heavy gear of the machine. It wasn't running or anything, it had been jammed and suddenly fell. He had to get 20 stitches and they were very concerned about a tendon in one finger possibly being severed. We just found out that that finger will be fine and he didn't need extra surgery! We had already planned a week off so by the time he goes back to work his finger should be healed enough for him to work. I am so thankful and relieved. So, now that all that has settled I have time to post again:)

My card uses a Thomas Kinkade image A Perfect Yellow Rose, availible at Cornish Heritage Farms. I colored it using Prismas. I was going for a photo vintage tint look and like how it came out. The background was stamped using Spanish Script and the flourishes are from the Rummange Bin, Beautiful, and the sentiment is from Scripture Essentials 1 also at CHF. The flower is from Paper Blooms. Thanks so much for visiting!

This is such a beautiful card Leah!

I'm so glad that your husband is going to be OK. (That had to be pretty scary.)
