Day 9 of the Mothers and Daughters Creations First Annual Mothers and Daughters Traditions Blog Roll

Need a quick, but meaningful gift for Mother's Day? How about creating a magnet for your mom or other special lady with a picture of her grandchild, you and her together or her beloved pet? Using scraps of paper and some simple embellishments you can whip together a little magnet gift in 10 minutes. Recognize the flower embellies? Yep, those are the ones I made just a couple of days ago. I printed out a wallet size picture of my daughter, punched a cute border, matted it on some coordinating paper and viola! A sweet, simple little gift. Magnet strips are cheap and you only need a small piece of one. This one is going to go to one of the Grandma's for Mother's Day. Want more?

Visit Dawn for a fabulous challenge and some great ideas for quick projects you can make from things you have on hand. Kathryn has also joined in with samples so drop by her blog for even more inspiration.

And don't forget to visit the MDC blog and store!
