Day 7 of the Mothers and Daughters Creations First Annual Mothers and Daughters Traditions Blog Roll

With just a few simple supplies you can create your own custom embellishments. Try fussy cutting some flowers out of pattern paper and layering them on top of each other. If the paper is double sided alternate the sides. Got some flower punches? Punch scraps of left over cardstock and or pattern paper, layer and finish off with a rhinestone center. And then there is always stamping. Stamp an image twice on a scrap piece of cardstock or pattern paper, cut out and layer together using a pop dot for more dimension. Hand made embellishments don't need to take a lot of time or supplies and will perfectly cooridinate with what you already have on hand.
This is lucky Day #7 of the Mothers and Daughters Traditions Blog Roll. We’re getting away from cards and scrap pages to take a crack at recipe cards. Share your recipes and get some cool ideas for making recipe cards from Melissa. (Hint, I hear she has a template to share as well.) Drop by and see what Robin, Giovana, and Laurie have also come up with.
