Blog Candy!!

Well, I've decided to do my first blog candy give away:) I figured this is a good time since my birthday is on Saturday and my due date for my baby girl is fast approaching.

So here's what to do to enter. Anyone can enter. One entry per person. Make sure your name is with your post, I can't contact an annonymous. On your comment tell me something you are thankful for that you usually take for granted or don't think about how nice it is to have. This idea is from me being without hot water for over a week and being really thankful for hot water! You have until midnight, mountain time, Saturday, March 15th to leave a comment. I will randomly pick a name and announce a winner Sunday, March 16th. Good luck!

Here's what you'll get:

One sheet of Heidi Grace Rub-Ons

One sheet of Heidi Grace Tab Decorations (meadow color)

One package of Heidi Grace pre-braded flowers (12 pieces)

Heidi Grace Ribbon, 1 yard each of 6 different ribbon

One 40 piece package of Heidi Grace decorative pins (pink hearts and pale yellow balls)

One Gold Gel Ink Pen

And a hand made card by me:)

Hi Leah, I found your blog on PTI. All of your cards are beautiful. I have left messages to some of your comments. Okay for my answer to your question. I am thankful for many things, but the most important thing I am thankful for is my daughter, Bridget. While I was pregnant, I was told she may have scoliosis(sp)of the spine and had to get tests. Thank God she didn't have it, but I am thankful she is healthy and has no abnormalities. She is 11 and is the pride and joy of my life. I pray that you have a healthy baby. I learned that God only gives us what we can handle. Alice Roushia

It sounds trivial to most, but it is report card time and our electronic grade book went down. I have only had it for one quarter now and look how dependent I am on it! thanks! Heidi

Leah, I just found you from the PTI board too. I love your cards. Also, congrats on your expected new arrival. I am thankful for my wonderful family, especially my husband. He's been in Iraq for the good part of a year and I never realized how much I relied on him. I'm also thankful that he and all of his friends remain safe day after day.

Thanks for the chance to win the blog candy, and what a great idea to share things that we are thankful for! I am so thankful for my son's health. He was in the NICU for 2 weeks just after birth with all sorts of complications and issues, and after months of seeing specialists, he is now a healthy little guy!

Hi Leah! Great cards on your blog. I found you through the PTI board. :) I am thankful that my family is healthy. Alot of my family members went through quite alot medically last year and everyone is doing great!

Leah, first wishing you a super birthday, extra sweet like your super blog candy.

The thing I am most grateful for is family. Might sound lame but last weekend we got hit by a horrible winter storm that left over 2 foot of snow in my drive which is 100' from street. My aunt, her husband and daughter knowing I have a bad back, arrived with shovels in hand to help unbury me. Without them I would probally still be struggling to get it done.

Enjoy your Birthday!

Hi!
Thanks for offering up this great candy! Internet would be something that I take for granted. Our computer isn't working at home and I didn't realize how attached I had become to getting online! LOL!
Thanks!

Well I think that I would have to say "internet" is one of those things that I have and when it is down- YIKES, I am in so much pain from not being able to get on it. Is that pathetic?

wow, double fun for you on the way...birthday and a baby! I am thankful that winter is starting to move on out of this town! I have clearly had enough of snow, cold and winds!

Oh aren't you sweet! I found you through the PTI forum. I'm so hesitant to blog-surf when I'm at work on breaks because I'm never sure if there'll be music or not.

Thanks for the amazing giveaway! I'm thankful to have a home, a wonderful husband & family, and the ability to do the things I love on a daily basis. Those are things I don't think of often enough.

I can relate....we've been without heat for two days but help is on the way. I guess we all take things like warmth, heat, light, etc for granted and I'm thanksful it's a rare occasion we're without it. Great blog candy for the first time! Would love tow in.

Beautiful blog. Something I take for granted is --funny as it sounds a job. As much as I complain, I have a job that enables me to do a lot of what I love. Thanks for the chance at some great blog candy.

Great blog ! I'm thankful for indoor plumbing too. We had to go 13 days without water when our well failed and we had to have a new one dug but it was too cold -30 and had to wait for it to warm up a bit. Had to bring in water in order to flush the toilets, not fun.

I am so thankful for my husband, for more than just the obvious reasons. At the end of the month he is leaving for Pittsburgh, and we are following in June. But for the next 4 months I will be alone with the kids. As much as he drives me crazy at times, I can't imagine what the next 4 months are going to be like, without him. Great blog! Thank you for the inspiration.

I will never take water coming from the tap for granted again. Here in NC we are in a horrible drought and until the recent rains we were in big trouble. Having enough water to drink, wash, and bathe is something to be thankful for.

What a sweet RAK! I would love to win a handmade card by you! That would be so great!

I am so thankful for dishwashers! Right now we're living in an apartment while our house is being built and it doesn't have a decent dishwasher so I have to wash dishes by hand! Talk about a time waster! I never knew how much I relied on it until now!

Thanks for offering such pretty blog candy! Having recently brought our first child into this world I am so thankful for a loving husband who supports me, and does everything he can to help lighten the load of taking care of a 3 month old. I am truly blessed!

Hi Leah,
I've "seen" you hanging around the PTI board. Love your blog and you do such nice work! I guess the thing that I am most thankful for and have taken for granted for so many years is having my children home with me. My youngest son will be heading off to college in the Fall and it's just starting to sink in that he won't be around every day like he has been for the last 18 years. For those of you with young kids, make every moment last (even the rowdiness and noise! hee hee)for they grow up SO fast! Shellie Shufelt

Nice blog candy.
I had to go without a kitchen for 6 months. I guess it was the running water/sink I missed the most. It would have to be running water is what I am most thankful for and take for granted.

What a generous giveaway! After spending two weeks last month with at least one person sick with the flu, I am thankful for our family's overall good health. You forget to be thankful for that until you're in the midst of the sickies. Happy Birthday!

You have a great blog! I have to say that I am very thankful for having high speed internet and the ability to work from home (except for those two days I have to drive 90 miles one way to be in the office each month). I am also thankful that we have a fenced backyard and doggy doors for our three dogs so that they can go outside whenever they need to. (Although the puppy is still in the learning process of WHY he goes outside.) ;)

I definitely have a LOT to be thankful for because after a difficult 5 year battle, I found out last week that my cancer is currently in remission. One thing I never take for granted is family or health. But things like a fridge full of food, a comfy bed, a warm bath, my car, etc. are things that I often times take for granted & forget to thank God for. It sometimes takes something to break down before we realize how blessed we really are:)

I am thankful for good health. I have a terrible head cold right now and even though I know it is not life threatening I feel like I am not going to make it!

We take so much for granted without even knowing it... it's almost hard to answer!
Um... for me it was my husband. While he was in Iraq, and so near danger, I realized how fragile life could be in an instant. He's not perfect, but I tell him I love him daily and don't take him for granted. If you ask him, he'd say I never did... but that's the beauty of a good person.
