Treasure Life TT2

Well this is week 2 for the Tuesday Throwdown challenge! I hope you'll hop on over and join us, and be sure to go find out who our great sponsor this week is! Our challenge this week is to use trees or nature inspired images. I decided to break out a new CTMH set, A Tweet which has all the images I used on my card. I really like the silhouetted bird. I did a much bigger sized card than usual too, a 5/12 x 5 1/2" square...I like it only problem is I kind of forgot about an envelope! But I think I'll just hand deliever this one to my MIL who's birthday is coming up;) Have a wonderful day!

Birthday Girl

This LO features pics of my daughter's 2nd birthday. I love the ones of her carrying around all her "loot" :) I used mostly Primas and Dew Drops on this one, as well as a Cricut cut for my title using Storybook. The stamps I used are from the BG, Urban Prarie set. I think it is impossible for me not to use Dew Drops on my LO's! If you want to pick up some great Prima products, and of course some Dew Drops, be sure to stop by Your Memories Here and get yourself a few treats:)

So Sweet Cocoa

I know that our SNS Cocoa the mouse is quite popular, so I hope many of you are happy that he will be one of the clear stamp releases on June 1st! I used the image of him with the chocolate chip cookies and made it a "cute, but pretty" card:) At least I think so;) I colored him with Copics and added faux stitiching and used a brand new EK Success punch I just got! Love it:) The flower is one I made using my Cicut and a 1" circle punch, some stamps and netting. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

If you haven't checked out the Scrapbook Pal store you should! They have great prices on Cricut products and offer free shipping over $25! Soon I'll be showing you some fun projects:) Hugs...

Change

You know how you just love how some cards turn out? Well this is one of those for me...I had the idea of using the butterfly from Everyday Miracles and my June Rose together and it worked better than I thought! Those are 2 more sets that will be released from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps as clear sets on June 1st. Be sure to go visit the store and sign up to be a subscriber so you can be the first in the know about what sets are coming out and get a special price on them too! I decided to use my Prismacolor pencils on my images and left the waxy pencil unblended for a soft, pastel kind of look. On my butterfly I added lots of Stardust glitter gel pen to the wings, it's so shimmery and pretty IRL. The card base was cut using my Cricut and Wild Card. I hope you like it and be sure to stop by tomorrow for another peek:)

Poppies

Another peek for you today at a set that will be released as clear stamps from Sweet 'n Sassy on June 1st, this one called Poppies and Greetings. This is such a pretty set and one with lots of great sentiments, though on my card I opted to leave a sentiment off:) I colored the poppies with Copics and did some scoring on my base and distressed it with some soft brown chalk ink. The mat my flowers are on was cut with my Cricut using the Sentimentals cartridge. I hope you are having a good day! Be sure to hop on over to PCP or SNR to join in our SNS digi day...thanks for dropping by!

Have You Heard??

Have you heard the fabulous news that Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is going to be carrying clear stamps again?! So exciting:) And if any of you had started to collect my birth flower series I am so happy to tell you that those are in the line up of the sets coming back! We are going to be having a blog hop on June 1st which is also the release date for the new clear sets and I'm going to be giving you lots of sneak peeks at what sets are coming. And not to worry if like the digis because they are staying:) My card today uses the Woof You set, isn't it sweet? I made a baby card (surprised? *LOL*) using this adorable pup and did a bit of paper piecing with his kerchief around his neck. I colored the puppy with Copics and Prismacolor pencils. Be sure to stop by the other DT blogs to see what other sets are being peeked, I have a complete list on my side bar. See you tomorrow with another of the new sets:)

Today is the first official challenge for the new challenge site, Tuesday Throwdown! We have a great sponsor this week, Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, so be sure to come on over to the blog and join in this week for your chance to win a great prize package. The challenge this week is to use an image you need to color on your project. I chose this super sweet image from SNS called Helping Hand. Birthday card fit for a Princess

For my share today I made a simple birthday card that would be great for any little girl. I used a couple of Snag 'em Stamps and some Prima flowers that you can get for a great price over at Your Memories Here. For my background paper and focal panel I stamped my own pattern using a couple different flowers and the round Happy Birthday sentiment. I don't often reach for purple, so this was a nice change:) Hope you like it!

Miracles for Today....

I think we experience miracles everyday, sometimes we just have to look a little harder to see them. I used two new Sweet 'n Sassy digi sets for my card today, Anemone Flower (which I illustrated) and Everyday Miracles, for the butterfly and sentiment. I really enjoyed coloring both these images! I used my Copics to color and added some pen dots for some added detail. I hope you take a moment today and find something to be thankful for, even if it is just that you are alive, for that is a true miracle all by itself. Blessings.....

Possible, Not Easy...

Isn't that quote so true? I know it is in my life! I just love this image from Deedee's Digis, so cute. I am also playing along with Deedee's Happy Monday challenge which is to use white as an accent color. You should really hop on over and join in and pick up a digi or two:)

I made those pretty scallops with my SU! slit punch. Love them and kind of forgot that that punch could do that! Plus it saved me some moula since I didn't buy the new PTI scallop dies. Anyway...colored the image with Copics, added some faux stitching and some ribbon treatment. Hope you are having a great day!

Baby Cards x 2

A couple of simple baby cards to share with you today:) Both use the adorable Close To My Heart set, Love You Forever. I must admit I am a complete sucker for baby themed stamps....On the top girl one the sentiment is from PTI's Baby Button Bits. If you are at all interested in Close To My Heart products contact me as I am a consultant and I will let you know of any specials that are running, an d there just may be one through me:)

Yawn!

I hope you had a good weekend. I did! Hubby and I actually had a date night! We went out to eat at this fabulous place called the WildFlower Bread Factory and then went to see, How To Train Your Dragon. If you haven't seen that movie I highly recommend it, we loved it! :)
More Prima goodies on my LO today, flowers and a bit of gorgeous rose bud ribbon and of course, my favorite, Dew Drops. I also used a cute little Snag 'em Stamp, the crown on the journaling tag. The title was cut using my Cricut and Lyrical Letters. I love this series of pictures of my daughter when she was only a few days old, yawning so big! The journalling reads, "One thing is certian-you got your daddy's mouth!" And it's true, for such the petite thing, she does have a big mouth, you wouldn't believe the amount of food she can shove in there! *lol* Be sure to drop by Your Memories Here if you haven't lately, there are lots of fun Prima products and lots of the new Prima Live kits.
*I'll be back later today to annouce the winner of the free digi from Deedee's Digis! Be sure to check back to see if it's you:)*

Vintage Chipboard

I finally got a chance to play over at the Shabby Tea Room, I've had a pretty crazy week so I didn't get to craft as much as usual. This week's challenge is to use chipboard. This actually was a bit of a challenge for me as I never use chipboard! So I pulled out this chipboard frame, painted it with Distress crackle paint and glitter and used it to frame my focal image. The image and flower is a peek at some of the items I will be carrying soon in a new Etsy shop I am going to be opening soon:) I hope you like it and I hope you are having a great weekend!

Plant a Seed...

I've had a really busy week! I was out of town one day and running around the others in town....but the end of the week is looking like a slower pace:) My card today uses my image, Rainbow Scene from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and some pretty MM Chloe's Closet paper. I love that sentiment too:) I colored my scene with Copics, but after I was done coloring the rainbow I gave it a good wash with my colorless blender to soften it and make it look more watery. I like how it came out. If you'd like to earn a couple of free digis hop on over to the Sweet 'n Sassy groups on SNR or PCP and play along with our challenge, which is In The Garden. How has your week been? We finally had a break from some terrible high winds that we've been getting and this weekend is suppose to finally be warm! I can't wait! Thanks so much for dropping by:)

Beautiful Flower/Joy

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I really love how this LO turned out. I've been wanting to do a kind of quilted looking design and I thought this picture was perfect for it. The title is the meanings of my daughter's name and in this picture she was just 2 days old....now explain to me how is now 2 years old?! Hold your little ones tight!
I used some really yummy Prima goodness on this layout, if you haven't checked out Your Memories Here you really need too! The big flower is from Prima and so is the lace. For my leaves and butterflies I used my Cricut, Sentimentals and Storybook. I stamped the title and added pearls and stitching. I hope you like it!

Something a little different

Happy Friday! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? We don't really, but a low key weekend sounds fun to me! You may not know this, but I like to crochet as well as papercraft, and I thought I'd show you one of my new obsessions, amigurumi, crocheting little critters:) I {heart} these so much, they just make me smile. They are pretty time consuming and I have to pace myself when I set out to make one, but the finished product is so worth the effort. These were the first two I made, right now I am working on a little mushroom. My kids *love* these! I have also crocheted afgans, baby blankets, hats, baby booties, flowers and scarves but I'd have to say these take the cake for being my favorite thing to make. I hope you have a wonderful day and thank you so much for visiting me!

All That Glitters...

Good Wednesday to you, I hope you have been having a good week:) We finally got a couple days of sunshine and no more snow, yea! This week over at The Shabby Tea Room the challenge is to "get your bling on". Well, that wasn't too much of a challenge, but it was lots of fun;) I chose my Love Birds image from Sweet 'n Sassy as my focal image and will probably give this as an anniversary card to my parents this month. I added several rhinestones and lots of Stickles to make it glitter. The card base was cut using my Cricut and Wild Card at 5". I lightly distressed all of it with Creamy Brown Chalk ink. I hope you like it:) Thanks so much for dropping by...have a blessed day!

Beautiful Birthday

We got invited to a little girl's birthday from church at the last minute and I of course wanted to make her a card. After thinking a bit I remembered she loves horses, so I got to pull out my Charile Daisy set from Clear Dollar Stamps. I do love this set, makes me smile everytime I color it up. I used some BG scraps I've been holding onto, some faux stitching, a ribbon and some Cuttlebug die flowers. You can't see it very well, but I did add some Stickles to the flowers.

Some fun news...the new challenge blog, Teusday Throwdown is going to be starting on May
25th and we just announced our new DT, so head on over there and welcome them and be sure to come join us as there will be fun prizes each week:) Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Random Pictures

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Well, I am finished with the older pictures I've been wanting to get into LO's done, these two were the last of them:) The top picture was my son's first Thanksgiving and the bottom one his second Halloween. I figured since they were both holiday pics so close together I could get away with putting them on the same LO. I used up that fun Mimosa paper, some black Dew Drops and a few Primas. My little tags to label each picture are a cute Snag 'em Stamp that I just trimmed out and mounted on foam tape. All the supplies I used you can get for a great price over at Your Memories Here. Be sure to check out the shop, Kristina has added lots of new fun products! I hope your Monday is going well...I'm hoping we don't get anymore snow today!
