With Love

Happy New Year's Eve to you all! Hard to believe that this year is over already....but I am excited to see what is in store for next year:) Today I am sharing a new Sweet 'n Sassy Digi release, and it just happens to be one of my images:) I colored up these sweet Love Birds with Copics, added some threaded buttons, paper piercing, flowers and a punched border. The sentiment is a tiny sneak peek of one of the new sets being released on the 7th!

I have some pretty exciting news for this new release, and tomorrow I will share a sneak peek at what it is;) I hope you have a safe and blessed New Year's Eve and remember to be thankful! I am so thankful for all of you!

Winter Fun!

A fun wintery LO for you today:) I used many fun products on my LO that can be found at Your Memories Here. The Cricut cartridge I used was Lyrical Letters, aren't those penguins cute? I also used some pretty Silver Bells Dew Drops and a lovely Cuttlebug embossing border folder. I have been hoarding this strip of felt die cut ribbon and thought that even though it's flowers, I could get away using it on a winter LO since my main color was red. I hope you are having some fun winter days and be sure to stop by Your Memories Here!

Background Stamping

I love background stamps and have quite a few of them and found a little blog called Ann's Creative Nook where she was challenging us to use them. So I did:) I used 2 background stamps from CHF, Ornamental Vines and French Script. I colored the vine flowers in with Copics, added some lace and a dangling charm and called it good. A simple card but I think it came out pretty. I hope you think so too! Thanks so much for visiting me, means so much!

Snowy Thank You

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. Our family did though I am glad it's over :) I joined in over at the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge which is snow. We still have a ton of snow on the ground and are suppose to be getting more. I inked up 3 different Sweet 'n Sassy sets for my card, for the background snowflakes I used Snowflakes and stamped them in white ink, for the trees I used Trees of The Field and for the sentiment I used In His Time. Now is the perfect time to be making a few thank you cards for all the gifts we received. Have a blessed Monday!

Life Is Beautiful

I sure enjoyed making this card. I found a new to me challenge site called The ColourQ. I joined in using this week's colors and came up with this little ditty:) I have really loved the Spellbinders pennant dies, but I just can't buy everything I like and it dawned on me that several of my Cricut carts have some very pretty cuts that give a similar look. One of my very favorite carts is Storybook, which is what I used to cut the pink frame. The red die is the cut out that is left from cutting the gift box on Wild Card. I have really liked using bits of lace and stitching them on to my cards lately. The image is from CHF and is from the set, Ornamental Beauty.I stamped the image twice so I could cut the inner circle out and pop it up...I added a few MS punched butterflies and some flowers and bling. I hope you like it:) It's Christmasy colors without a Christmas theme...Have a very Merry Christmas!

Life Is a Journey

Happy Wednesday to you! My card today uses this week's sketch over at Taylored Expressions. I really like her sketches as they are always easy to use. For my card I used the Trees Of The Field set from Sweet 'n Sassy and decided to break out my gold embossing powder. I thought it would be a pretty contrast on the black c/s and bright pink background. I did keep to a wintery feel with the Cuttlebug die snowflakes and made sure to be a little messy when embossing the sentiment in white so that it looked like light snowfall. I finished it off with some lace, MS border punch and light blue rhinestones. Life sure is a journey! But thankfully I do not travel this road alone, I am so blessed to have my wonderfully supportive family and my Lord, Jesus Christ with me each step. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas Eve, eve:)

So Sketchy Send Off

A few months back I was happy to be a designer for So Sketchy! Well, Ally has decided to close So Sketchy! and asked her past designers to do one last sketch to send her blog off in style:) I got a circle sketch, which I love but don't often do. I used my Cricut for the base cut off Wild Card and for my image I used the I'd Pick You set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I stitched on all the buttons and did a bit of piercing around the heart. I hope you like it and be sure to visit So Sketchy! to see what all the designers have been making, some eye candy there for sure:) Thank you for stopping by.

Gingerbread Cookies

Last year my mom and I started the annual tradition of baking gingerbread cookies with my kids, and they sure love it! They really started to get into this year:) For my LO I used quite a few Cricut cuts. The tittle is cut using Don Juan and Opposites Attract. The adorable little gingerbread house, snowflakes and trees are from Christmas Cheer and the little heart is from Lyrical Letters. Be sure to stop by Your Memories Here for all your scrappy needs and with Christmas being just 4 days away you can do a little gift shopping for yourself ;) Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful day!

Thank You -TESC94

I really liked the sketch over at Taylored Expressions this week and decided to break out some new K&Co. paper and the adorable set, I'd Pick You from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps. I stamped the image on kraft and then used my Prismacolor pencils to color it, I love the look of it and haven't done it in a while. The crocheted bloom is from my shop, Paper Blooms. I added some MS glitter to the middle of the buttons and used my quickie glue pen to add a strip of glitter around the corner of my image frame. I hope you like it:)

**Be sure to enter my blog candy HERE if you haven't yet, today is the last day.** Thanks for dropping by.

Tuesday Throwdown

Today is a color challenge over on the Sherrod Studio blog. These were fun colors to work with, though I think I may have cheated a bit by throwing in some pink, I just couldn't help myself ;) I used the super cute set, Winter Wonderland, released last month. I random stamped the snowflake in the set for my patterned paper and added a few other fun details like Stickles for the ice and the little ribbon knots. I hope you pop on over to see what the rest of the DT came up with and have a wonderful Tuesday!

Stamping Around Challenge

I had the privilege of hosting the current challenge going on over at the Stamping Around blog! For my sample I used the super cute and fun set, Warm Up from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. The challenge is to make a last minute gift using stamps. For my gift I embellished a fun paint can type tin and filled it with some hot cocoa mix and made a matching card to go with it. I hope you can join in this fun challenge, here are the details:

1) You have two weeks to create a project based on the challenge topic of creating a last minute gift using stamps.
2) Take a photo of your creation and post it on your blog or gallery with a link back to the Stamping Around site (http://www.stampingaround.com/); please use keyword: SA01 when posting in galleries.
3) Leave us a comment with link to your blog or gallery with Mr. Linky, below.

At the end of two weeks, we'll draw a random name from the list and that person will win the stamp Warm Up set used in Leah's creation!! We'll also feature your project on the Stamping Around site!

Christmas Candle

Here is another simple Christmas card. I used my digi Christmas Candle image from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps, colored, added a bit of ribbon, pierced and was done:) I can hardly believe that Christmas is almost here! I still have a few things I need to get done, but overall am pretty much ready. My kids have been sick for the past week and last night was the first night in 5 days that we all got to sleep uninterrupted. I slept for 12 hours! I do feel quite a bit better though:) Hope you are having a good Monday, thanks so much for dropping by, and I always appreciate your comments:)

Release Day

Today the 2 new Sherrod Studio stamp sets are available for purchase:) My card today uses the Down Home Blessings set again, this time with the adorable little farm boy:) See the little straw pieces sticking out of his hat? I added those by inking up only one straw stem from the bucket image I showed you yesterday. I love this sentiment also, so many thankful sentiments in this set:) I added some twine threaded through an eyelet and afterward I thought it kind of looks like a rake:) I hope you have enjoyed these peeks! Be sure to hop on over the Sherrod Studio STORE and BLOG.

Bucket of Blessings

Welcome to day 2 of the new Sherrod Studio peeks. I really love this new set called Down Home Blessings. Super cute images and wonderful sentiments. For my card I did a bit of masking to get the bucket image behind the 2 chicks. The chicks are each a separate stamp which makes them super versatile. The sentiment I chose says, "May your blessings overflow your bucket." Love it! Be sure to stop by the Sherrod Studio blog and visit the rest of the DT to see their peeks.

Sherrod Studio Sneak Peeks Begin:)

Good morning! Today I get to share a sneak peek with you for this month's release from Sherrod Studio. This is another fun set, perfect for those masculine or boy cards, you know the ones that are so hard to make:) This set is called, Blast Off and has several fun images. I used the rocket for my card today and paper pieced it. The sketch I used is for the Tuesday Throwdown over on the Sherrod Studio blog. I also used the little cluster of stars to stamp my background panel. I added some distress stickles to the "flames" that shoot out the back, wanted to give it a little extra something but not make it girly;) The sentiment is perfect for a birthday card, so that is what I plan to use it for. Be sure to drop by the Sherrod Studio BLOG to see what the rest of the DT has made for your viewing pleasure and be sure to stop by tomorrow as I have another really fun set to show you.

Tuesday Throwdown

This week we are making a card box and cards to give as a gift. I decided to make 2 birthday cards and use coordinating paper for the cards and box. For my stamp sets I used, Birthday Ella and Rock 'n Roll from Sherrod Studio. These really do make such a nice gift and if you keep the card design simple it doesn't take much time either. For my card box my dear husband created a template for me. If you'd like it I'll get it scanned and loaded on the blog for you to use. I searched and searched for a box like this online and couldn't find one that fit cards and envelopes, but this one does:) This is the smaller one that uses one 8 1/2 X 11 piece of paper and I have a larger template that uses a 12 X 12 piece of paper. Hop on over the Sherrod Studio blog to see the other DT creations and join in with us!
