Candle Box Gift

I've been busy making several of these for gifts so you'll be seeing a few more soon ;) I embellished it with border punches, and lots of cuts from my Cricut. I used Accent Essentials for the snowflakes and Home Decor for the bird and swirl. For the candles I did the tissue paper transfer technique and used the lovely Sweet 'n Sassy set Snowflakes. I hope you like it:) Thanks so much for dropping by today!

Black and White Thank You

One thing I love about silhouette stamps is what a fast, but pretty card they make. For this card I stamped SNS Dream Silhouettes in black, added a few score lines, a "thank you" sentiment from In His Time and some punched butterflies. Easy, but I think effective. What do you think? This fits the challenge over at Stampin' Sisters in Christ which is a thankful theme. Thank you so much for visiting me:)

**I've decided to take a break this week from blogging since in the US it's the week of Thanksgiving. Have a blessed holiday if you celebrate this week and if not, remember you always have something to be thankful for! See you soon!**

Read To Me

My daughter loves to read. And the book doesn't even have to have pictures! She will flip through a word only book for quite some time. For this LO I used lots of Cricut cuts, the big mat my pics are on is cut from Storybook on my E. The title is cut from Plantin Schoolbook, and the flowers and flourishes were cut from Home Decor. It is really fun to make your own paper flowers and easy too! For a little something extra I added a few dew drops and a punched border and some stitching with my sewing machine. Be sure to drop by Your Memories Here to see what great new products Kristina has and for all your scrapbooking/card making needs. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your Sunday:)

Sherrod Studio Release Day!

Today the two new sets from Sherrod Studio are available for purchase! I am sharing another card using the cute set, Winter Wonderland. I love this sentiment and those little penguins sure look like they are having fun! I wanted to make a little different card shape so I used the Curved Rectangles from Spellbinders for my card base and front, it's super easy as they are so big. I hope you have enjoyed the last few days, now go get yourself a little something ;)

Winter Wonderland

Another Sherrod Studio sneak peek for you! Today I am showing you the super cute set called Winter Wonderland. Isn't this little skater adorable? To mix it up a bit I colored her with my Prismacolor pencils. The snowflakes that are in this set fit almost perfectly in a 1" circle punch so I punch out 3 to use as embellies. I hope you are enjoying the peeks so far. Be sure to drop by the Sherrod Studio blog, Kelli's blog the designer of Winter Wonderland and visit the rest of the DT to see what they've cooked up for your viewing pleasure:)

Sherrod Studio Sneak Peeks!

The next 3 days I will be sharing sneak peeks with you for the newest release from Sherrod Studio. Let me apologize for the blurry picture, I just couldn't get it to be clear...I'll try again and maybe reload it ;) Onto the peek!

This is a great masculine set. The set is called Rock and Roll and will be available at Sherrod Studio Nov. 19th. I used the drum set image, flourish and the sentiment, "My heart beats for you." While I was making it I thought it would be a nice little surprise to sneak into my hubby's lunch box for work, and he did like it:)

Be sure to hop on over to the Sherrod Studio blog and play along with the Tuesday Throwdown which is a color challenge and visit the rest of the DT to see all their fabulous peeks today. See you tomorrow!

First Snow

These pictures are actually from last year when we got our first snow, but we have already had snow this year, just not quite this much yet. I do love the snow when it sticks to the trees, so pretty. I used some great supplies that can be found at Your Memories Here, Prima lace stamp set, Damask Cuttlebug set, and my Cricut. I used Plantin Schoolbook for "First" and Opposites Attract for "snow". Be sure to drop by Your Memories Here and pick up some fun supplies especially since you can save 20% off if you use coupon code TURKEY at checkout:)

I used the Sketch and Stash challenge for my card today, using my new Jesus Is Born SNSS set. I don't often reach for purple hues, so I thought I'd mix it up a bit. The crocheted flower is made by me and available at Paper Blooms. Thanks so much for visiting me:)

Two posts for today as I got a chance to play along over at Paper Craft Planet where Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is sponsoring the sketch challenge HERE. For my card I decided to use one of my digi stamps, Pinecones and Holly available at SNSS. I colored it, distressed it a bit and left a sentiment off as I thought it could stand just fine alone. Hope you like it:) Off to clean the house, we have company tonight. Thanks for dropping by!

I embossed them with Swiss Dots and on the punched border added some fabulous dew drops. I am obsessed with these little gems:) For all your scrapbooking and card making needs be sure to check out Your Memories Here. I cut out the little guy and popped him up and used some of my favorite dp, BG Urban Praire. A Sledding We Will Go!

The challenge over at the Pink Elephant this week is to use the colors brown, yellow and one of your choice, which I chose a deep aqua. Aren't these a sweet pair? They are from the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps set, Winter Fun With Sam and Gretchen. I did a combo of paper piecing and coloring:) I've never actually been on a sled as I'm pretty terrified of slippery things, but on nice level ground like they are it might be fun:) Stay warm!

Supplies:
Stamps: Winter Fun With Sam and Gretchen, SNSS
Tools: Curved Rectangles, Spellbinders
Other: Copics, ribbon, flower made with Cricut, rhinestone

Teusday Throwdown

This week's challenge for the Sherrod Studio blog is a fun sketch! I enlarged my diamond shapes a bit, but like how it turned out:) I used the Birthday Ella set for the bouquet and sentiment and the pretty corners from Friendship Blossoms. For something a little different I heat embossed the sentiment with white detail powder, I love the bright white on black. I hope you stop by the Sherrod Studio blog and join in with us and to see what the rest of the DT came up with:)

MSTC04

Today's challenge over at PCP is to use snowflakes. To come join in go HERE. You can use any stamps you have, but if you have some SNS stamps we'd love to see them. For my card I used the gorgeous set Snowflakes from Sweet 'n Sassy and decided to emboss them in white detail powder. I chose pink, kraft and white as my unconventional winter colors, but I like the pink and white, hope you do too!

Have you pre-ordered your Sunbeams yet? There is also a huge sale going on with discontinued stamps priced at 70% off! Go HERE and do a little shopping:)

Thanks so much for visiting me today, I hope you have a stampy day!

It's a Birthday Celebration!!

Welcome to a one day blog hop where we are introducing you to the newest line from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, the Sunbeams! They are available for pre-order HERE. There are 4 adorable little ones, Emma, Luke, Owen and Caitlyn. Today I am sharing all four of them with you! They are all helping to celebrate SNS 2nd birthday.

For my little project I made a birthday box to keep my cards in for future birthdays so I'm stocked up. I chose one layout and pretty much stuck with it for all the cards, which made them go together a lot faster, but because you are changing the image and embellishments they all look different. For my sentiments I used the SNS set, Birthday Buddies. I hope you have enjoyed your stop here, be sure to visit the rest of the DT:)
